Rawaa Almukhtar, MD
Thank you for visiting my homepage.
I am excited to be part of the exceptional team at Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center.
I was born and raised in Iraq. After finishing medical school, I received a Fullbright Scholarship to earn a master’s degree in public health from Louisiana State University. Shortly after earning my master’s degree, I started my residency training in dermatology at Louisiana State University, where I served as chief resident during my last year of training. I also served as an investigator on a number of clinical research studies. I presented my research at national and international meetings and had them published in peer-reviewed journals.
I received training in pediatric and adult medical dermatology, dermatologic surgery, and cosmetic dermatology.
I strive to provide my patients with the most up-to-date and comprehensive care to reach the best possible outcomes. I look forward to being part of the medical team taking care of you.
