About Me

I was born and raised in Romania, but have lived in the United States for 15+ years. I spent most of my time in Southern California, where I did my undergraduate (Pomona College) and medical school (UCLA) studies. I spent some time on the East Coast, working as a clinical research fellow at the National Institutes of Health in Maryland and most recently in Pennsylvania, where I completed my residency training in dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. I joined Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento because I wanted to be part of a close-knit team of physicians dedicated to the health and well-being of their patients. I enjoy working in a multi-specialty group setting and feel that it allows for the best care possible for my patients. I am also happy to be back in Northern California, closer to my family.

I am a medical and surgical dermatologist with interests in pediatric, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. I have had the good fortune and privilege to train and work with experts in these fields who have prepared me well for taking care of challenging skin conditions, both acute and chronic.

My Staff

The dermatology staff includes an extremely dedicated and professional group of cashier receptionists, medical assistants, and nurses who continually strive to better the experience of our patients.

My Colleagues

My partners and I collaborate closely. We discuss challenging cases and meet to review our patient care plans. If I’m on vacation or at a meeting, my partners are well informed of any patients who need to be followed in my absence.
