Daniel Sukato, MD
Job Title
Head & Neck SurgeonAbout Me
Welcome to my profile. I’m a fellowship-trained facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Kaiser Permanente Oakland and Richmond Medical Centers. I have the unique privilege of being trained in cosmetic facial surgery as well as head and neck cancer reconstruction. I was one of the select few otolaryngologists every year to have received an accredited training by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS).
I was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in Jakarta, Indonesia. I returned to California during high school and subsequently pursued my advanced education in the east coast. I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and moved to New York to complete my otolaryngology – head and neck surgery training at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Brooklyn. After five years of intensive surgical training, I then subspecialized in facial plastic and microvascular reconstruction at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where I trained with some of the best plastic surgeons in the Westwood/Beverly Hills area.
I am excited to call Kaiser Permanente the place where I now practice and to call East Bay my home. My goal is to bring best-evidenced medicine and surgery while providing compassionate and collaborative care to my patients and community. During my free time, you’ll find me, my wife, and our dog exploring everything that the beautiful East Bay region has to offer.
